Trinity 27

In this issue we finally see the scene that was teased way back in issue 1, when Konvikt joins Morgaine and Enigma. It’s clear that Morgaine is tricking Konvikt, promising him what he wants without telling him the consequences. I am surprised that Morgaine doesn’t get rid of Graak, certainly she knows how to communicate with Konvikt without the help of Graak.

Meantime Tarot is still trying to figure out what to do. She figures out that the universe without the trinity is trying to heal itself, trying to plug the hole where the trinity was, but Morgaine and Enigma are stopping that, shaping the world into what they want it to be.

Carter Hall finally starts to get back into the heart of the fight with his old costume. The backup story is about the Dreambound, not only escape but also free other prisoners to create the army that Morgaine needs.

I am not too interested in the Dreambounds in general, they are a colorful group of villains but I don’t really care about them too much. I do wonder what’s the indentity of Swashbuckler.
