The main story features the group that Alfred put together in search of the missing trinity. This is the story that I am really curious to read about. I am really missing the trinity, so I can’t wait for this group to finally find them and bring them back into the story.
It’s worth noting that the people of this world look like Konvikt, so I wonder what the connection is. I liked the way this culture is based on the personalities of the trinity. Each priest represents one of the trinity: night, sun, truth. Only when they judge together will they reach a just verdict.
The backup story sees the Dreambounds continue to fight against the heroes and go back to Morgaine. Meantime the scientists debate over how to deal with the reality burps. I like that Luthor seems the only one that knows what the big picture is. The others seems to just react to the little crisis and trying to plug the “leaks”.
The first story really injected freshness to the series, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. That sounded way worse than I intended, I am enjoying this series, but I am just missing the trinity and can’t wait to have them back.
