Alfred’s group is closer and closer to the Trinity, they appear to the natives and they instantly idolize them. Also Donna Troy is getting her powers back, even though she still doesn’t understand them. Tarot and Charity wonder if they should call the JSI, so Charity reads Tarot’s cards.
This flows into the second story where the JSI is fighting with the time/space rifts in Metropolis, against the Dreambounds. Again Luthor is the only one who knows what’s more important, even when Hall tells him that saving lives is never wrong, in this instance I think Luthor is right. In the end Tomorrow Woman saves Metropolis, but many other rifts appear in other cities, and Brainiac is now free.
Back to Tarot, she decides to take herself off the table to allow the JSI to try to save the world, but the Dreambound are already after her and capture her. The Tarot thread really doesn’t interest me too much, I do like that she’s the Wolrdsoul, it’s a nice concept but I just don’t care about her.
But I can’t wait for Alfred and his group to find the Trinity, I am curious to learn what they did and how long they’ve been teaching the natives.
