Tell No One

This latest foreign movie from France is probably my favorite of the bunch. This is a great thriller, on par with the best Hitchcock films.

The mystery is presented almost immediately, and we slowly learn more and more about it. Alex is at the center of it, after losing his wife Margot. But then he receives an email which hints that she might be alive.

There are many details to the mystery that slowly point Alex to the truth, and there are a lot of people going after Alex. There are some very thrilling action scenes, I particularly liked the foot chace scene.

Alex is surrounded by many supporting characters, all of them I thought did a good job. In particular Kristin Scott Thomas appears again in a French movie, this time she looks totally different from her role in I’ve Loved You So Long.

When the truth is finally revealed I was happy with it, but there is one more twist after that. But the emotional peak arrives at the very end, and I thought Francois Cluzet did a great job in that scene. I really felt his love for his wife.

This is a great thriller, with lots of emotions and action. Highly Recommended.
