Here we see Morgaine attacked by Despero and CSA, but she manages to strike an alliance with Despero, the same way she did with Enigma, through their shared dream (that seems so long ago). Kanjar Ro is the only one screwed, so he’s kept prisoner. While the CSA can’t wait to deal with the Trinity, and possibly steal their power.
I felt it was a bit too easy for Despero and CSA to accept Morgaine’s help. Before they were so eager to attack Morgaine and company, but I guess they’re all too greedy.
The backup story sees the Trinity continue to deal with their loved ones, trying to explain to them that they are Gods now and have a bigger purpose than to spend time with them. I really do feel the loved ones are just spoiled brats that crave attention from their parents.
