Last issue Batman came up with a plan to defeat the evil Trinity, which we see at work in this story. The Trinity share the plan in unison, as if they were one facet of one single being. Then they simultaniously fight the enemy and recruit people to help them with their plan. They’re successful and nobody saw it coming, not Krona or Morgaine: they used Morgaine’s own spell to bind Krona.
The backup story focuses on the 3 people responsible for the success of the spell, Tarot, Void Hound and SCII. It’s a strange combination for sure, and I’m not sure exactly how they fit into the spell. I can see the Void Hound being the friend, but Tarot is not exactly his foe. And SCII is foundation?
Is this really the end of Krona? There’s not many issues left, so I guess it is. It’s been so long and so many issues that I am having a hard time believing that there’s gonna be a conclusion to this story.
