This is a pretty typical mob story about a mob guy betraying his “family” and going to the police looking for a new life. Predictably he goes against the whole organization by himself, trying to save his family from his evil brother.
It’s nothing new but it’s done well. This being written by Garth Ennis, it’s very violent and it’s supported by good art from Mihailo Vukelic. Jimmy Palmiotti is from Brooklyn, so he provided the plot for this comic.
Everything was enjoyable and a little bit predictable, until the end. There’s a twist at the end that I didn’t see coming, though it was hinted at. That twist gives an edge to this otherwise normal story. I’d say it’s worth seeking out.
