Harvey going crazy more or less worked for me. The scenes with him threatening the Joker's henchman set up that he was a bit unstable to begin with, and they made it clear why he'd be angry at Gordon.

It'll be interesting to see if Nolan makes another sequel to this. It seems like they've used up all of the villains that fit the "crime movie" style of the first two. Who would Batman fight in the next one?

It's funny that our opinions about these two arcs are so different. To me Golden Age is a high point, I just love those epic stories that span decades.

As for the timeline, I didn't really care while reading it. For the sake of discussion, we all know Daredevil was first published in the 60's, so those stories do look like they were done in the 60's-70's. But of course the Marvel universe is permanently going to be 10 years old, otherwise all heroes would be 70 years old. I note that but I don't really care, as long as I enjoy the story.

Decalogue seems to have lost its focus, that's the only explanation I can think of. It started out as something, but it ended up something else. I don't know. I just wasn't crazy about it.

About the pretty new girl plot, I thought they should have kept that going, instead of basically ignoring it. She did come back in an episode, but it didn't feel connected to her first one. I liked that episode, I just wish they kept that story line going.

You're right about giving everyone some dignity, even the bully Alan had a "good" scene.

A great series indeed.

I think I agree with you that the show loses the thread a bit in the second half, although to be honest it's been long enough since I've seen it that I don't remember it that well. I'm a big enough Kon fan that I'll probably rewatch at some point.

I agree that one of the points of the show is that the geeks are happier and better-off than a lot of the more popular kids. In general, I really like that the show frequently departs from the typical formulas of teen comedy. Daniel playing D&D is one example. Others I can think of are the near-beer party and when they make friends with the pretty new girl. In both stories, the conventional plotline would be to have them inevitably fail. The near-beer plan would blow up in their faces, or the pretty new girl would eventually reject and embarrass them. But the show actually lets them succeed. The show gives all of the characters at least some degree of dignity, which I think is uncommon in comedies.

Also, Jason Segel's "Lady L" song is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I thought this was a great run of comics as well, with the possible exception of "Golden Age." I thought "Decalogue" was particularly good. I don't, however, understand the name. Was it originally supposed to be a longer story? Why is it called decologue, when it is only five issues?

I thought "Golden Age" was the weak link in this run. I understand that they are trying to make the three different time periods in that story match three different historical periods, but I think it was mistake to do the early-career Daredevil as if it was taking place in the Seventies. Presumably those events are supposed to be no more than 10-15 years in the past, so having the setting look like 30-35 years ago is just distracting.

I agree this season has been weak (and that it has never been consistent). Hopefully the return of Brock will help.

I agree that "Trial of the Century" is the weak point of this. It felt a little formulaic to me. I normally don't like "realistic" art in superhero comics, but Maleev really pulls it off. Milla, in particular, comes off well. She is distinctive and always recognizable. I've read that she's modelled on Maleev's wife, so I guess that makes sense.
